The grand finale of Marine Max rendezvous to Resorts World-Bimini was the end of the summer/back to school vacation that was a splendid trip for all. The flotilla of sixty-two boats that include such brands as Hatters, Boston Whalers, Sea Ray and Azimut made their way from Florida locations of Marine Max in Palm Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
Chris Finck of Marine Max indicated that the crossing was rough, but was well worth the ride and praised the team from Bahamas Tourist Office, Customs and Immigration for assisting the group with the clearance process which was seamless and allowed the group to start enjoying their vacation without delay.
The group of three hundred participants enjoyed the weekend full of relaxation, exploring Bimini?s history, snorkeling-diving, fishing and partying. The schedule included a welcome reception, a trip to Honeymoon Harbour, the Sapona (ship wreck) for snorkeling and the crescendo on Bimini Bay Beach with fireworks and a Junkanoo Rush Out.
Marine Max is a full service dealership that starts with pairing the customer with a vessel to coordinating as much as six flotilla getaways per year for their clients with the majority of them cruising to The Bahamas. Plans are in the works for next year?s finale and they are looking forward to making the run to Bimini.
