With an extensive background in both hotel management and casino operations, Paul V. Pusateri has been named chief operating officer of Baha Mar, the $3.5 billion destination gaming resort in the Bahamas.
Baha Mar, scheduled to open in December, 2014, will involve a 1,000-acre destination resort along 3,000 feet of beach in Nassau. It will be the home of Rosewood, Mondrian and Grand Hyatt Hotels and a 100,000 square foot casino whose gaming floor will have 1,500 slot machines and 150 table games.
Pusateri is a former president of the Palm Casino Resort in Las Vegas and also served as COO of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Previously, he was senior vice president of the Venetian and Palazzo resorts.
