Breitling and The Breitling Boutique are extending their support to the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association and its “Evening of Elegance” event for the fourth consecutive year. The event takes place at The Balmoral Club on Saturday, 2nd November, 2013.
For the Evening of Elegance’s raffle’s Grand Prize, Breitling is donating The Chronomat 44 Flying Fish, a special series of the Chronomat 44 that features an all-black dial and a steel case with exclusive finishing. As highlighted by the red inscription on the dial, The Flying Fish is water–resistant to 500m (1,650 ft.), making it the ideal companion for adventurous and extreme feats. The Flying Fish is known as the watch for record breakers and extreme sports.
Wellington Seymour, Regional Marketing Executive for Little Switzerland and the Breitling Boutique, was on hand at the Breitling Boutique to present Chris Lloyd, BASRA Operations Manager, and Loran Pyfrom, BASRA Vice-Commodore, with the Chronomat 44 Flying Fish grand prize.
Mr. Seymour said: “We are very pleased to partner once again with the BASRA Committee Members for their annual “Evening of Elegance” fundraiser.”
“As the Chronomat 44 Flying Fish is a very special timepiece to the Breitling Family, we thought it only fitting to present this timepiece as a show of our support to the members of the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association who have dedicated their time and resources in the rescue missions for distressed seamen and air pilots in The Bahamas,” said Seymour.
Mr. Lloyd thanked Mr. Seymour on behalf of BASRA for the continued support from the Breitling Family.
The Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association (BASRA) is a dedicated non-profit volunteer organization supported by donations, grants and legacies from all sectors of the community. The November 2nd Eveneing of Elegance is a critical fundraiser for the volunteer association and all boat owners, captains and rescue supporters are encouraged to lend their support.
BASRA works with the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force and also the US Coast Guard and has one full-time Operations Manager with volunteer Captains and Crews on duty at all times.
