Paul D. Antonas the top 2013 awards presented by Bahamas Realty Ltd. (BRL) executives during the company’s Christmas Luncheon at Lucianos of Chicago.
The young appraiser/sales associate won the award for the agent producing the Most Exclusive Listings during the past year; the Most Improved Agent Award. He also won the new Outstanding Performance Award, “In recognition of a staff member who has shown commitment by sustaining a high level of productivity and quality of work; displaying dependability, responsibility and resourcefulness; and demonstrating leadership qualities.” This award was voted by salaried staff, partners and directors of BRL.
“Winning any one of these awards is quite an achievement. Winning all three of them is commendable,“ said BRL President Robin Brownrigg, who cited the young professional’s work ethic and commitment to excellent service for his clients.
Brownrigg, the Dean of Bahamian Appraisers, continued, “When you combine his appraising, rentals and sales, he was our top producer. Paul Antonas embodies so many wonderful qualities. What he applies to the business world he applies to his life. He is showing everybody that there is no limit if you work hard …He gives his heart and soul, gives his best. It warms my heart to see a new generation of enthusiastic young realtors coming through, trained to understand real estate and how value is established.”
“It feels great to be able to bring appraisal and sales expertise to our company, Bahamas Realty. Having worked there since 2008 on both the appraisal side and sales side, I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to excel,” Mr. Antonas said.
Mr. Antonas is a licensed Appraiser and Sales Agent approved by the Bahamas Real Estate Association. A graduate of Northeastern University of Boston Massachusetts (USA), he specialized in the fields of Graphic Design and Multimedia Studies. In addition to real estate, Paul Antonas has worked in Graphic Design, Architectural Design, Marketing Design, Newspaper Design and Search Engine Optimization.
Other awards presented included: Employee of the Year, Vernon Clarke, Messenger; Most Dynamic Department, Appraisals; Rising Star, Iona Henderson, Marketing Manager, for “excellent job performance, creativity and team work”; Gem Award, Lindsey Cancino, Director, Financial Controller, “for going the extra mile”; Most Professional Appearance Award, Daniel Hall, Office Manager; Smile Award, Tyrina Whyly, “always positive and enthusiastic”; Sir David Attenborough Award, Kathy Butler, “for the employee with the best telephone personality and voice.”
