Michael Johnson, a senior at C.R. Walker Secondary High School and achiever of Commonwealth Bank, won the 2014 Junior Achievement (JA) New Providence and Toastmasters International’s Annual Speech Competition held at The British Colonial Hilton on February 12.
There were 15 finalists in this year’s completion which started with over 200 achievers. Jordan Prince Williams student Juan Pratt placed second followed by St. Anne’s student Jamielle Davis, both achievers of Deloitte.
‘Empowered to Succeed’ was the theme of this year’s competition.
