It’s wintertime, fish are jumpin’ and the livin’ is easy – or something like that at Romora Bay where local and visiting youngsters along with captains and friends hauled in mahi-mahi, wahoo and barracuda from a recent afternoon’s fishing.
Nothing from the near record haul was wasted.
The ‘cudas went to those who asked and the famed chef at Romora Bay’s Sunsets Grille prepared the wahoo and mahi-mahi for guests of the 14-room resort and busy marina that just celebrated the opening of its fitness centre.
“It was the perfect match,” said Romora Bay’s manager Anne Ward.
“Harbour Island is known worldwide for the island’s fare and this was an opportunity to take the best from sea directly to table at its freshest.”
