Self-proclaimed “bishop” Neill Ellis is a real piece of work. No good Christian would ever considered him a representative of Christ. His flashy lifestyle and questionable ethics are the antithesis of Jesus.
But now, the man who many refer to as a religious con man is part of a con on himself.
Online fraudsters have set up fake profiles for Mr Ellis to solicit money from unsuspecting users, officials from Mount Tabor Church have warned. Ellis is senior pastor at Mount Tabor. The church has cautioned people from sending money to these fraudsters.
It is ironic, because other good Christians would probably warn of giving any money to Mr Ellis as well.
