For in between all his other woes, farmer’s son Rob, a one-time star of Channel 4’s Secret Millionaire, was also ripped off by a conman in the Bahamas.
Lloyd, 47, was persuaded by a smooth-talking lawyer he met playing tennis at Nassau’s Ocean Club resort to part with £750,000 to buy a plot of land to build a holiday home.
