A man accused of murdering a teenage girl has pleaded guilty to manslaughter by negligence.
Prosecutors withdrew the murder charge against Don Edgar Lewis and accepted his plea to the lesser charge in the January 2, 2006 death of Judith Price.
Price and a group of friends were walking to their home in Oakes Field from the holiday carnival when Lewis allegedly made unwanted advances to some girls in their party.
Lewis left the area and returned with his lights off and he ran over Price and three other people, according to the evidence.
