The wife of hotel billionaire Sol Kerzner blamed the breakdown of their 11-year marriage on his workaholic lifestyle.
Heather Kerzner – who cites unreasonable behaviour in divorce papers filed at the High Court in London – is in line for a huge settlement.
Mr Kerzner, 76, who had been married three times before the couple wed at his Atlantis resort in the Bahamas in July 2000, moved out of the family’s townhouse overlooking Holland Park a year ago.
Mrs Kerzner, 42, a former model, told the Standard: “It’s fair to say that my husband works all the time, travels all the time and kind of had his business be the most important thing in his life.
“Our marriage was very good for most of the time, we were very happy, so the breakdown has been very sad for both of us. Really sad.”
Mr Kerzner threw himself into his work following the death of his eldest son and heir apparent Butch, 42, in a helicopter accident four years ago.
