A trendy new upscale restaurant has opened in downtown Nassau and intends to set a higher standard in casual dining. Blu Restaurant, Bar & Lounge opened two weeks ago in Bay Street’s Elizabeth on Bay Plaza.
The restaurant features a menu that offers a fresh, updated selection of slow-cooked, flavor drenched Mediterranean classics.
In an interview with The Tribune Blu’s sales and marketing manager, Shannon Bruce said, “Our main goal was to create, first and foremost, a restaurant that offers phenomenal cuisine and a venue for people to come to at any time – lunch, late at night, Sunday afternoon – and also to cater to corporate clients.”
The two-storey restaurant overlooking the harbour, targets both locals and tourists. It seats 212 persons and has standing space for 500.
