NASSAU, Bahamas – Palm Cay Development Company has appointed Richard Browning as the new chief executive officer of Palm Cay, the unique water-front residential development and Marina on the Eastern Road.
Mr. Browning brings 30 years of development management experience to the post.
His arrival comes as Palm Cay enters the next phase of its construction development and begins a new branding and marketing programme. The appointment, and additional resources now being introduced, underline the solid commitment of the Palm Cay investors to bring Palm Cay to fruition despite the slow economic recovery.
As a specialist in the field, Richard has wide experience in all aspects of leisure resort construction and management including financial structuring, master planning, marketing and sales to local and international markets.
Over the last two decades he has overseen the development of six award winning multi-million dollar residential golf communities, including the high profile Oubaai Golf Resort in South Africa featuring an Ernie Els designed Signature golf course. His most recent project involved the launch, development and delivery of Riffa Views in the Kingdom of Bahrain, a 900-villa residential golf development alongside Colin Montgomerie and Boris Becker.
“I find joining Palm Cay Development particularly exciting. This is a quality project with prestige and appeal for both local and international home buyers who love to live by the ocean,” said Richard Browning. “And as one of the few Marinas on New Providence, Palm Cay represents an opportunity for a rather unique and enviable residential lifestyle.”
Palm Cay is a 400-home development on the Eastern Road in a secure, gated environment with an expansive Marina and Club House offering a water-front lifestyle. The development combines turnkey and land purchasing opportunities and boat slips for each home owner.
