The launch of popular reggae band Willis and the Illest’s first album was tarnished when opportunistic thieves struck.
According to band manager Charmaine Bourbon, a large speaker valued around $800 and a power head were stolen just outside the band’s rehearsal studio.
She said band members had just loaded their equipment into a van, which was parked outside of their rehearsal space, in preparation of their album release party at Club Bambu on Thursday evening.
