Nassau, The Bahamas – March 12, 2012 – Kingdor National Parkinson Foundation is excited to announce that it will be celebrating its 12th Annual Gala Ball, under the theme, “Love Is A Song Worth Singing”, featuring world-renowned guest artist, Regina Belle, and The Bahamas’ own popular Royal Bahamas Police Pop Band.
A black-tie affair, the gala ball will be held at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort and Casino, Cable Beach, on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 6:45 p.m.
Ms. Belle is a four-time Grammy Award Winner, MTV Movie Awards Winner, Best Song from the movie, “A Whole New World”, and a duet with Peabo Bryson.
The reason for the gala ball is to raise awareness and generate funds for Kindgdor National Parkinson Foundation, a non-profit organization, in its effort to fully educate the Bahamian populace regarding Parkinson.
Kingdor, however, requires the public’s support of the gala ball, and such support can be through the purchase of advertisements, a table of 10 seats, or individual tickets.
Notwithstanding, it requires the public’s continuous support, through volunteerism and/or financial assistance, in order to help its fight against this dreadful illness.
It is hoped that the general public would take time out to support this year’s gala ball, which promises to be a spectacular event.
