BahamasB2B.com has hired a Bahamian, currently living in the United States, to update and manage their new and very popular News portal.
The aggressive writer and editor has vowed to open up the news in The Bahamas and “tell it like it is”. It is unfortunate that the identity of the news editor must remain a secret but the person refused to take the job unless their family back home could be shielded from reprisals.
“The Bahamas is basically run by a consortium of criminals and those criminals are able to effectively manage the government, the courts and the press by making life very difficult for anyone who crosses them.
“Television news in The Bahamas is basically nothing but government propaganda. And the newspapers are maybe too busy trying to keep afloat by selling advertising. They can’t really get too controversial because it may affect their advertising,” said the new editor who is determined to change the situation for the good of The Bahamas.

“That’s why the newspapers here drop the ball so often and refuse to do any real investigative journalism. They may mention an impropriety but then the story is never seen again. In other democratic countries the media follows the story until the wrong is righted. I intend to start doing that here,” the mystery editor added.
It is understood that the editor is talking about stories like the auto theft ring in New Providence, the former senior MP who impregnated a 13 year old girl and then sent her to Florida, the sick note scandal, rampant shoplifting, MP drug dealing connections, irregularities in the Supreme Court Registry, corruption in former FNM Ministries, corruption in the legal system and among lawyers, the money laundering – Cartwright murder scandal, etc., etc.
“We are concerned that except for one tabloid newspaper, the news in The Bahamas is “sterilized” to the point where it does not accurately reflect the severity of the many problems and challenges facing The Bahamas,” said Lisa Wells founder and one of the principal owners of BahamasB2B.
“As a result, problems are left to fester and nothing is ever done toward resolving the issues,” Ms. Wells added.
BahamasB2B News is updated daily and is aggregated from a variety of news sources and independent reports.
