Partaking in the feeding ritual with creatures like the Caribbean Reef Shark and dozens of Eagle rays, was among one of the daring activities which daytime talk show host Ricki Lake experienced during a recent shoot at the Atlantis, Paradise Island.
Frequent visitor to the world-renowned water-themed Atlantis, Lake felt that it would be the perfect 'getaway' to film for her self-titled talk show, The Ricki Lake Show, for an upcoming sweeps season beginning next month. Using three separate crews to film simultaneously various features of the resort, the entire party was able to tape four full episodes in only three days.
Crowds of people gathered as Ricki conducted stand-ins at signature locations throughout the property, including an array of restaurants, the beach and most notably in front of The Mayan Temple during the feeding of Caribbean Reef Sharks, Nurse Sharks and Silky Sharks.
