Bahamas Business Solutions will put the spotlight on globally competitive technology during its inaugural Technology Show on February 11 and 12 at the Radisson Cable Beach Resort.
The company will team with international partners to introduce new technology to the local market. “Our objective was to expose the business community to innovative products and solutions that they can use to better manage their business,” said Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Winston Rolle. “The key to this is the solutions; it’s not just another product fair.”
The show was designed for a wide target audience and will feature individual meeting areas for presentations and demonstrations of various products of interest. A number of international presenters will be on hand to give demonstrations and insight into the need for evolving technology in industries around the world, including banking and finance, law, office administration, high volume printing, graphic arts, engineering, architecture, retail/point of sale, CCTV and card access, and cost recovery and containment. Additionally, a local sales and service staff will be available to answer questions on meeting any company’s need for evolving technology.
“We all know that productivity and efficiency are two of the key areas when it comes to competing globally and we will be showing solutions that are being utilised elsewhere in the world to achieve these very same goals. My experience has shown that, as a country, The Bahamas has had access to, and has invested in, technology for some time in order to address specific needs, but we can do more. We need to utilise more of these tools on a day-to-day basis >to make us more productive and efficient,” Rolle added.
The technology show will be held in seven segments over a period of two days. Interested persons may take a few hours out of their day and see presentations and demonstrations specific to their industry. “We realized that is difficult to ask key persons to be away from their office for the entire day so we wanted to keep it short but very specific,” says Rolle.
