Showing global technology can be delivered locally, Bahamas Business Solutions held its fourth annual technology show, featuring technological solutions designed for better productivity and efficiency.
Vice-president of sales and marketing at Bahamas Business Solutions, Winston C. Rolle said the three-day show, which focused on industry-specific solutions, will conclude today.
Bahamas Business Solutions has in the past only sold the Xerox line but is changing its image.
With 3,000 clients in The Bahamas, including Turks & Caicos it is now selling products such as Xerox copiers, IBM computers, hp invent, Neopost, Minolta and Tyco.
Though the majority of the presentation illustrated how IT workers could achieve efficiency and productivity in the workplace, it also showed the key business issues faced on a daily basis in regards to technology challenges and solutions.
“The persons registered for this seminar come from various areas of our workforce, so some of them are not just IT workers but some of them are persons who are responsible for making decisions as it relates to how their company’s finances are spent.”
Mr. Rolle said: “While the local community tend to make investment in these products, they don’t utilise the products to the maximum that we can.
This is one of the things we are trying to sensitise people to; and that is they can better utilise some of the products that they have already invested in.”
