It is interesting to note all the current discussions on the granting of bail for serious offences. Something that has not been said, but I am sure must be known by many, is that the accused very much need to be out on bail so that they can perpetrate more offences to obtain the cash needed for legal fees. But this time around they can be more ruthless than before because they are already condemned. They are therefore likely to be more brazen.
Obviously, the lawyers representing the accused do their best for their clients and themselves in obtaining bail. This in fact releases on to the public even more dangerous predators than before they were initially arrested.
This might be so obvious that what I am saying is unnecessary, but I have not seen it mentioned in the various discussions on bail, and I thought I might put it forward.
