Recent Rainfall Won’t Rectify Water Crisis

With only 0.66 inches of rain falling in the past two days, water officials say this is not enough to rectify the current water crisis hitting New Providence.


Just one day after declaring the island in a “massive shortage” officials at the Water and Sewerage Corporation said it is going to have to “rain a bit harder” if the corporation’s Windsor well-fields are to get enough water to meet consumer demands.
