A man was robbed and shot early yesterday during his morning walk through a residential area.
Gregory Baker, 43, was on his way home around 7:30am Thursday when a black Windom pulled up beside him, police reported yesterday.
Two armed men wearing black ski masks got out of the car and attacked Mr. Baker.
The gunmen robbed Mr. Baker of his watch, and as the robbers sped off in the car they opened fire in Mr. Bakers direction hitting him in the upper thigh, police said.
Mr. Baker was walking in the area of Lobster Avenue and Bamboo Crest, Golden Gates.
Mr. Baker is the second person to be attacked by a gunman while walking in a residential area in the past three days.
On Tuesday morning a woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint while walking on the Eastern Road at about 9:30am. Her attacker dragged her away from the houses in the area to nearby bushes.
