The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Mr. Winston Rolle has been elected as its new President for 2003 οΎ– 2005, succeeding chartered accountant Raymond Winder.
During its Annual General Meeting on June 25, 2003, Mr. Rolle and a new slate of officers and directors were elected to office. Mr. Rolle, formerly the managing director of Bahamas Copier & Office Products, is currently the vice president responsible for sales and marketing at Bahamas Business Solutions.
As the new president, Mr. Rolle brings a unique combination of youth, energy and experience to the post. Previously first vice president of the chamber, Mr. Rolle is very knowledgeable about chamber matters and the role it plays in the business and general community.

In addition, he has expressed a keen interest in advancing and representing the private sector and country at large over these next two years, which he views as a critical juncture in Bahamian history.
His executive team includes Keith Glinton, Esso Bahamas Country Manager, as first vice president; Lemuel Sweeting, president of Bahamas Data & Media, as second vice president; James Gomez, partner at Gomez Partners & Co., as treasurer; and Linda D’Aguilar, attorney at Lennox Patton, as secretary. Other members of the 2003-2004 Board are Joan Albury (The Counsellors), Dionisio D’Aguilar (Dagbros Limited), Henry Dean (United Sanitation Services), Bryan Knowles (Bahamas Supermarkets), Rick Lowe (Nassau Motor Company), Michael Maura Jr. (Container Terminals Ltd.), Barry Williams (Cable Bahamas) and Tanya Wright (Bank of The Bahamas).
The past president’s Advisory Council consists of Neil McKinney, Reginald Lobosky, A. Bismark Coakley, Judy Munroe and Felix Stubbs. Outgoing and immediate past president, Mr. Winder now joins this group as an ex-officio.
