Re-Earth founder Sam Duncombe said she has no idea how Kerr-McGee, the Oklahoma City based corporation, which government has licensed to search for oil, could have any idea what impact their search will have as no Environmental Impact Assessment has been done.
Unhappy with promises that Kerr-McGee is environmentally conscious, Mrs. Duncombe wondered how much the company plans to protect the environment when it hasn’t studied the impact on the areas it will be searching.
Mrs. Duncombe voiced concerns about government’s environmental behaviour during an address to the Rotary Club of West Nassau last week Thursday when she complained about the lack of any consultation on several major projects.
