And because of this, Ministry of Health officials are preparing to provide high-risk groups of Bahamians with the flu vaccine in the public sector.
In a Tribune article last week manufacturers and private clinics throughout New Providence were running low on flu vaccines as worried Bahamians lined up to sfaeguard themselves against what is being referred to as the worst flu season health officials in the United States have seen in years.
Dr. Carey told The Tribune yesterday that health officials are very concerned about the flu virus.
