The Saxons are calling for the National Junkanoo Committee to recount or open its judging records.
Although the Saxons captured the best banner, best music, best choreography, best costume and best Shirley Street performance – The Valley Boys, who won the Boxing Day parade repeated the win with the theme: “Oh Perfect Love: A Dream Wedding”
When the announcement was made that the Valley Boys would celebrate a two-straight victory, Saxons paraders and spectators began a protest on Bay Street.
