As was recently reported Jay Michaels has been looking into several projects involving tourism and was recently approached by the Symonette Group to put together a promotional and entertainment package for their company.
With Mr. Michaels background in marketing and promotion and having created major concert venues and high profile entertainment for the Cruise industry that comes into the Bahamas the executives at the Symonette Group felt that Jay Michaels would be the perfect candidate to create a series of promotions for the “Cat.”
The state of the art vessel that is currently running between Fort Lauderdale and Freeport and will this winter begin the run between Fort Lauderdale and Nassau. With Jay Michaels background in working with Bahamas Tourism and with his association with the entertainers and media outlets he feels that this could be a great boost to the local economy and to tourism as well.
Talks are now preliminary and should be coming to completion within the next thirty days.
