Mafia Style Murder In Abaco

The injuries have thrown new light on what islanders are calling a ‘Chicago-style’ killing, with chains being wrapped round the corpse before it was dumped into the sea.

“People are shocked,” a source told The Tribune yesterday. “Abaco is not used to this kind of thing – it’s really disturbing.”

The victim has been named as Jermaine Thompson, 30, who was found bound and gagged floating in a blue hole near Bustic Bight on Good Friday.

There were chains round his neck, waist and legs and his head was covered and taped.

The legs were bound in duct tape and tied to a concrete block with black nylon rope.
