Discovery Offers Discounted Rate for Grand Bahama Bird Festival

MIAMI, July 7 /PRNewswire/ — Discovery Cruise Line, the largest tour operator to Grand Bahama Island from South Florida, announced a special rate for the Birding and Nature Festival to be held on the island from October 14 to 17, 2004.

Discovery passengers, who present an original copy of the advertisement appearing in the Tropical Audubon Society bulletin, will be given a 10 percent discount off the best advertised price at the time of sailing. The Festival offers three days of seminars, exhibits, guided birding field trips, and other local tours. Grand Bahama’s bird population increases to over 200 species during the fall migration in October. The island has three endemic species, which include the Bahama Woodstar, the Bahama Swallow, and the Bahama Yellowthroat.
