Writ Stops Korean Boats From Leaving The Bahamas

Dr. Tyneil Cargill has obtained a court order that blocks the removal of the boats until the Koreans have paid him $50,000 in rent and legal costs. Bailiffs flew on the weekend to Morgan’s Bluff, Andros, where the 45ft boats are docked and they served the order on the Koreans. Six of the 15 boats had already sailed to Freeport to be shipped out in containers. Bailiffs notified officials in Freeport to stop those six boats from leaving.

The Koreans owe Dr. Cargill six months rent ($27,000) for staying in his condo on Paradise Island. The 14 regular boats are valued at $170,000 each and the mother ship at $500,000 – a total of $2.9 million.

MP Tennyson Wells reportedly offered $120,000 for each of the 14 regular boats.
