A school teacher, who was a minister at her local church, was found stabbed to death in her home.
Dale Hepburn, the minister at Golden Gates Native Baptist Church and the head of foreign languages at SC McPherson Junior High School, became the country’s fourth murder victim in just five days and the 34th for the year.
The 42-year-old was found lying on the floor in her hallway Tuesday morning with stab wounds to the neck and face.
Police are holding a 28-year-old man for questioning in connection with the murder. It is believed he was known to Ms. Hepburn.
