One daily flight will be offered between Feb. 16-April 30, 2005.

“This new flight will provide our customers with easy access to a desirable vacation destination during the peak travel season for the Bahamas,” said Tom Bach, vice president of market planning and Northwest Airlink, in a statement. “Our Memphis hub provides convenient connections for passengers traveling between Nassau and dozens of destinations throughout the South and Midwest.”

Nassau will be Northwest’s seventh international destination from Memphis, and the new service will complement existing seasonal service between Nassau and Northwest’s (NASDAQ: NWAC) WorldGateway hub at Detroit.

The flights will be operated with Northwest Airlink partner Pinnacle Airlines Corp.’s Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ), which seats up to 50 passengers.
