Reducing Energy Costs with Greater Efficiency

Most businesses and areas of government can realize considerable savings in electricity and energy costs, according to the Bahamas Hotel Association (BHA) which will be holding a workshop on the matter on Tuesday, November 15th in cooperation with The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Bahamas Electricity Corporation. ᅠ

“It simply makes good economic sense and sound environmental practice to save energy. ᅠAs jumps in energy-related costs have affected businesses, residents, travelers, and the government, it is extremely important that we review and improve upon our entire approach to energy consumption.” according to Earle Bethell, President of the BHA.

The one day workshop, titled “Reducing Energy Costs with Greater Efficiency”, will look at a range of practices, approaches, equipment, technology and materials ᅠwhich can be used to better conserve energy and manage costs.
