Hooters Air announced it will be making seasonal adjustments to their schedule reducing flights from Baltimore, Columbus, Gary, Pittsburgh, Nassau, and Las Vegas to Myrtle Beach until March 2006. They will continue to provide service to Newark on Thursdays and Sundays. This is the third year that Hooters Air has reduced service in the off-season to Myrtle Beach.
Flights and schedules are available through the Reservation Center or the Hooters Air Web site for the spring season. Based on current bookings Hooters anticipates a strong spring season for Myrtle Beach. “Permanent residents of Myrtle Beach know how quiet it gets in the off season months with few travelers” said Mark Peterson President of Hooters Air. “In the past years we have reduced the schedule and absorbed the costs. However, this year with the high cost of fuel and low participation the seasonal adjustments were necessary.”
Refunds will be made to customers on all affected flights through Hooters Air Reservations at 1-888-FLY-HOOT (1-888-359-4668). Hooters Air Flights are Public Charters operated by Pace Airlines. All payments from passengers are protected in an escrow account. Passengers who are affected by these schedule changes will be refunded immediately.
