The bodies of two males were discovered around 1pm yesterday at two separate locations in New Providence, according to police.
The first, the naked body of a dark male believed to be in his 30s, was discovered floating in waters near to the Atlantis phase three-construction site on Paradise Island.
According to Police Inspector Ellis Miller, the cause of death cannot be determined without the help of an autopsy, but he said that foul play was not suspected.
Meanwhile, the body of another dark male was discovered in bushes near the Born Again Deliverance Church on the East-West Highway, police said. The pastor of the church reportedly discovered the body.
Officials said that the male, who is also believed to be in his early 30s, was discovered wearing a black jacket, red shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes with gunshot wounds to the chest. Police classified the case as a homicide.
Police investigations into the cases continue.
