Chicago To Freeport Non-Stop

American Eagle, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, will add non-stop weekend jet service between Chicago O’Hare International Air-port and Freeport beginning May 6.

The new service will be offered each Saturday and Sunday through Sept. 3, using 70-seat Canadair CRJ-700 jets, American Eagle announced in a press statement from its headquarters in Forth Worth, Texas.

This new service is in addition to American Eagle’s daily nonstop jet service between O’Hare and Nassau, which began last June.

“We’re pleased to expand our service from Chicago to The Islands of the Bahamas,” said American Eagle President Peter Bowler. “American Eagle provides the only non-stop service from O’Hare to The Bahamas, reflecting our commitment to introduce new and exciting destinations to our Chicago customers.”

American Eagle is the only regional airline at O’Hare to offer its customers easy and convenient jetbridge boarding for all flights.

American Eagle is the largest U.S. regional airline, operating over 1,700 daily flights to more than 140 cities throughout the United States, Canada, The Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean on behalf of American Airlines.
