Weekend Crime Spree in Nassau

Police believe the robberies, which occurred between llpm on Friday and lam on Saturday, are all connected. In one incident, a man was locked in the back trunk of his car.

The culprits were described as two men dressed in dark clothing. One of them had a rifle.

According to police press liaison officer Walter Evans, the first incident occurred after ilpm on Friday when shots were fired at a man standing outside his home.

The man, a resident of Eneas Jumper Street, was not hit, but his front door was damaged.

About 15 minutes later, on Quakoo Street a woman and her friend were standing in front of a home when they were approached by two men.

They were then robbed of cash and jewellery. The culprits fled on foot.

Within five minutes, two men who were standing in the street at Odle Corner, were held up at gunpoint. They were robbed of cash and jewellery. The robbers again fled on foot. ᅠA man and woman in the

Sometime before lam on Saturday, two men fitting the same description, forced a man into the trunk of his Mitsubishi Lancer, in the Finlayson Street area.

The car was then driven to Parker Street in Bain Town where the victim was released from the trunk and the culprits sped off in his car.

There were no reported injuries.
