Two former Grand Bahama police officers suspected of looting hundreds of gallons of gasoline will face charges in a Supreme Court in another week.
Ex-cops Anthony Griffin and Racine Milfort are expected to appear before Senior Justice Hartman Longley to answer to the charge of stealing by reason of employment.
It is alleged that the then officers stole some 200 gallons of petrol from the police garage.
Both men, who were corporals at the time, were relieved of their duties from the Royal Bahama Police Force and eventually arrested on November 15, 2010.
Prosecutor Erica Kemp is representing the Office of the Attorney-General.
Griffin, who is represented by Attorney K. Brian Hanna, was on the force for some 27 years, while Milfort, who has retained the services of Callenders & Co., has served for more than 20 years.
Both were reportedly attached to the Police Garage.
