Royal Bank of Canada will be operating under the new name RBC Royal Bank (Bahamas) Limited.
The change comes as the bank prepares for a transfer of the domestic retail and commercial banking operations in the Bahamas to a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Canada, named RBC Royal Bank (Bahamas) Limited, an entity incorporated in the Bahamas.
The name change will not affect the way the bank does business with its clients or services and facilities provided.
Cheques, credit cards, client cards and other documents will be changed over time to reflect the new name.
