Police are on the hunt for three men responsible for a home invasion that happened early yesterday morning.
According to police, a man was at his West Bay Street home around 2 a.m. when he was awoken by three men who robbed him of an undisclosed amount of cash, an iPad, a laptop and jewelry.
Police said one of the men was armed with a handgun.
Police are appealing to members of the public who may have any information to contact them at 911, 919, 322-3333/4, the Central Detective Unit at 502-9990/1 or Crimestoppers at 328-TIPS.
This comes after a string of armed robberies last weekend. Police reported nine armed robberies from last Saturday to Monday.
According to police, there were four armed robberies on Saturday, three on Sunday and two on the Monday holiday.
Six of them happened when the victims were either arriving or leaving home.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson warned people to be vigilant, particularly when driving home at night.
