A man has been arrested for making death threats on his Facebook page against Minister of State for National Security Keith Bell, according to Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson.
Mr. Ferguson said “it is very likely” that the man will face charges as it “a serious case”.
Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade reiterated that the police take threats of death very seriously.
The man is being held at the Central Detective Unit (CDU). Mr. Bell confirmed that he made the complaint to police and that he has taken action for the safety of his family and himself.
