Scotiabank has been named as one of the Best Consumer Internet Banks in the Bahamas by Global Finance Magazine.
The bank received the title of Best Consumer Internet Bank in 22 countries, and Best Corporate Internet Bank in 17 countries across the Caribbean and Central America.
“We are excited to be named Best Internet Bank in the Bahamas by Global Finance Magazine, and recognized for the online services that we provide to our customers,” said Kevin Teslyk, Scotiabank Bahamas’ managing director.

Global Finance Magazine produces its Best Internet Bank rankings for countries around the world every year. Winners are chosen among entries evaluated by a panel of judges at Infosys, a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing.
Winners were selected based on the following criteria:
* Strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers.
* Success in getting clients to use web offerings.
* Growth of online customers.
* Breadth of product offerings.
* Evidence of benefits gained from Internet initiatives.
* Web site design and functionality

In 2012, Scotiabank won the global title of World’s Best Consumer Internet Bank in North America, and Latin America including the Caribbean, by Global Finance Magazine.
