US federal agents and Bahamian police seized over $2 million worth of marijuana.
In a statement on Saturday the US Coast Guard said that authorities found 67 bales near the island of Exuma.
Officials said the drugs weighed more than 1 000kg and were hidden on a remote cay that is part of the Exuma island chain.
Four people were arrested after Friday’s seizure.
