Kamalame Bay, a private island getaway near Andros in the Bahamas Out Islands, will feature two new villas and a new beach and bar in time for the winter season.
Rose Apple, a 1,600-square-foot, two-bedroom villa, has direct access to the beach; Magnolia, a 3,800-square-foot, four-bedroom villa, set for completion in November, offers a Great Room and an ocean-facing veranda.
Blue-Winged Teal, a 1,480-square-foot, two-bedroom wooden bungalow built on stilts, will open in early 2014.
In addition to the new West Beach and Blue Marlin Bar, Kamalame now has a nursery, which will grow and provide the resort’s herbs and greens as well as free-range chickens and eggs.
Other facilities include the Overwater Spa with five treatment rooms and all water sports.
