Toastmasters International Division I (Bahamas) received top honours emerging as the leaders from nine Divisions in District 47, which includes South Florida and The Bahamas.
This is the second year in a row that the division has won.
Kristina Khilberg, District 47 governor, presented Anthony Longley, division one governor with the division governor of the year award. Despite heavy competition from some of the South Florida divisions Longley won ‘division governor of the quarter’ award for all four quarters during the administrative year.
Six new Toastmasters clubs were initiated by division one and many members achieved educational and leadership designations during the fiscal year under Longley’s leadership.
