Six people floating on a small raft in the Bahamas were rescued on Sunday by the Monarch of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
They had been on the raft for 15 days before being rescued by the cruise ship. There were seven of them on the raft but one died.
The cruise ship was on its way to the Bahamas when it came upon the small raft. The raft was sighted by a passenger on board the ship.
When the boat docked at Port Canaveral around 7:00 a.m. Monday police said the migrants were not on board, however, other officials may have reached the ship before it docked.
The raft appeared to be a several tires tied together with green burlap and a makeshift sail.
The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol is working with the Coast Guard as it is not known where the six people are from.
