The Bahamas Humane Society will be at the Bahamas Kennel Club Dog Show on Saturday, March 15th and Sunday, March 16th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days.
A parade of adopted-from-the-BHS dogs will be held on the Saturday at 12 noon. Entry fee for the adoption parade is $5 and you must pre-register in order to receive your bandanna and doggy treats! Please contact Amanda at 324-1302
March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day and the BHS will be celebrating the Luck of the Irish with a week of St. Paw-trick’s adoption specials. From Monday, March 17th to Saturday, March 22nd, all dog and cat adoptions will be $10.00 with all puppy and kitten adoptions at $20.00. A second companion animal is a mere lucky $1 more. Every adopter will have a chance to win additional prizes from our Pot o’ Gold.
Adoption hours during the event:
Monday, March 17, Tuesday, March 18, Wednesday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, March 20 and Friday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
