The incident allegedly took place on January 20. Caine was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez in court number one.
Becasue Caine is not from the Bahamas and has been fired from his job as a physical education teacher, prosecutor Claudette McKenzie objected to bail. Caine was terminated after the allegations were reported.

The matter was adjourned until February 21.
