Police have uncovered a stash of valuables believed to have been stolen over the last two years from homes in Lyford Cay.
Armed with a search warrant, police travelled to a house in Nassau Village on Sunday where they found a quantity of items that had been reported stolen.
Computers, laptops, watches, jewelry, silverware, TVs, household items and cash were discovered. The value of the items has not yet been determined but police say they are worth thousands of dollars.
Many of the items appear to have been taken by burglars operating in the exclusive Lyford Cay community.
Two persons are in custody and police are looking for others who may have been involved.
Persons in Lyford Cay who have been the victim of theft will be invited to view the items to identify their property.
