Shark Attacks Up Last Year

SHARK attacks increased around the world last year, with Australia coming in second behind the US for the number of maulings, according to the University of Florida’s International Shark Attack File. Of the 79 attacks worldwide, 14 of which were in Australia. Surfers made up the most victims, followed by swimmers and people merely wading.
