Students from the winning group of the College of the Bahamas’ first ever short film festival received a bonus cash prize at the Behind the Lens Photo Exhibition on Thursday evening.
After the results of the film festival were announced by Dr Earla Carey Baines, Dean of Faculty of Liberal and Fine Arts, it was announced that the filmmakers of the short “Jasmines” would be receiving $1,000.
The reason why “Jasmines” ultimately won over the other films, Dr Wisdom said, was because of its quality of story telling and its ability to draw the audience in.
